Preston James IV, originally from Harlem, New York, is a dynamic leader in the School of Management at Hesston College, blending his passion for sports and law into an engaging learning experience. With over 20 years of experience representing athletes and entertainers, he is dedicated to mentoring students and helping them find their paths in the sports industry. Known affectionately as the “edutainer,” Preston thrives on creating those “ah ha” moments in the classroom, particularly in his favorite courses, Sports Law and Intro to Sports Management. Outside the classroom, he is the founder of a nonprofit that exposes young men to careers in sports, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
