Laura Lyndsey, a business management professor, brings to her position over 20 years of diverse experience as a professional executive in corporate business. Her impressive background includes working for one of the big four accounting and auditing firms, significant companies in aircraft, banking, environmental and manufacturing, including AGCO, Hesston’s local agricultural company. Additionally, Laura assisted multiple nonprofits in Newton and Wichita and is an entrepreneur.
A published author, Laura contributed to “The Christian Journal,” as well as “The Harvey County Independent,” covering community and educational topics. Laura resides in Wichita with her husband, Robert, and three dogs: Buddy (a chocolate lab), Cher (a German shepherd) and Birdie (a vanilla lab). She enjoys traveling, art museums, musicals, plays, ballet and attending jazz festivals in her spare time. Her favorite pastimes are playing volleyball and tennis, shooting at the gun range, reading, writing and spending time outdoors with her fur babies.
