Admissions Counselor

Hesston College seeks an Admissions Counselor.

Your Role

The admissions counselor manages a recruitment territory and guides prospective students through the admission process, from inquiry to enrollment. This role focuses on building relationships, communicating the value of the Hesston Experience and contributing to enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a recruitment territory, including travel and events.
• Build relationships with students, families and counselors.
• Guide students through application, visit and enrollment steps.
• Communicate consistently via phone, text, email and CRM (Element451).
• Meet individual and team enrollment goals.
• Represent Hesston at on- and off-campus events.
• Collaborate across admissions, athletics, financial aid and academics.
• Maintain accurate records and manage a recruitment pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, self motivated and goal oriented.
• Ability to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends.
• Commitment to the mission of Hesston College.

Preferred

• Experience in admissions, recruiting, sales or customer-facing roles.
• CRM experience.
• Background in athletics, performing arts or student leadership.
