“Hesston College is so different from where I am from in Atlanta, Ga. It is a safe place where you feel like you can really trust people.” –Myles Cardenas, Class of 2015

Hesston College is a safe, close-knit community. Crime is rare, and our students feel secure regardless of whether they come from a large urban center or a rural community. College staff have a great working relationship with local police and fire/EMS to ensure overall campus security and safety.

Students have access to excellent medical care in both Hesston and nearby Newton. Transportation to and from doctor’s appointments can be arranged with Student Life staff.

Personal counseling services are available at no cost to students. The college employs two counselors who utilize a safe, confidential process with compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
