Options for housing and meals during dorm closures
Upperclassmen residing in apartments
Juniors and seniors living in on-campus apartments in Kauffman Court are allowed to remain on campus during dorm closings within the regular academic year. Students must communicate with student life their intent to remain on campus and are responsible for their own meals when dining services are closed.
Short-term lodging
Short-term lodging is available in Hesston and the surrounding area for students not able to return home during dorm closings. This is also an option for students who arrive prior to dorm openings or need to stay a few days after dorm closings. Airbnb and VRBO are two websites to locate short-term options. Students are responsible for rental costs, as well as their own meals when dining services are closed.
