Director’s Note
I have always loved escaping into the world of a good mystery/thriller. The colorful characters in this show allow us to indulge in the suspense while laughing along the journey.
William Gillette was a real person and American stage actor famous for writing and starring in the play, Sherlock Holmes, during the early 20th Century. He built a castle on the Connecticut River and often entertained actors and guests, while showing off his latest gadgets. The castle contains 47 doors and several secret rooms and passages. Today, Gillette Castle is a state park on the National Register of Historic Places, and is open to the public.
