8 a.m. to noon – Part Two: Missional churches start with those who are ready
Changing the culture of an organization is daunting and takes intentional effort over the course of years. This session focuses on what we CAN DO now in order to get to where we want to go.
Innovation: While you are waiting for the entire organization to “buy into” where you want to go, there are valuable “JESUS CENTERED” innovations that can happen in any organization as you wait. Learn how to be “MISSIONAL” while you wait.
1 to 4 p.m. – Part Three: Missional churches call for a new kind of leader
Who are missional leaders? Learn how to identify those with leadership potential and how to grow the gifts of others around you.
Sunday, October 4
10 a.m. to noon – Part Four: Missional churches call for intentionality
Missional engagement with your community is not asking for the impossible, only the intentional. Learn how to start with your story. We are more likely to care for those who remind us of ourselves. How do we train others from different backgrounds to do the same?
Missional communities always start with WHO: Who is being overlooked? Who is hungry? Who is hurting? Who is knocking on the door?
Learn how to identify your community’s third place. Look for the neutral zone where you can be a non-threatening presence in neutral territory.
