Alumni and friends invited to Hesston College events March 29 in Iowa

Hesston College alumni and friends are invited to attend several college-related events in the Wayland and Kalona area Sunday, March 29.

Hesston College President Howard Keim will bring the message during 10:30 a.m. morning worship at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in Wayland.

Meanwhile, Hesston College history writer John Sharp will bring the message during the 10:30 a.m. worship service at Wayland Mennonite Church.

At 3 p.m. Sunday, alumni and friends of Hesston College are invited to an event and reception planned at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. Sharp, Hesston College’s centennial history writer, will share stories of the past about the college’s first 100 years and about the Mennonite Church. Tony Brown, internationally-acclaimed baritone and a college faculty member, will sing selections on the “lighter side.”

And attendees will also have opportunity to visit with Hesston College alumni and friends living in Iowa.

Meanwhile, Keim and Sharp will speak and Brown will sing during the 9:40 a.m. chapel at Iowa Mennonite School in Kalona Monday, March 30.
