Hesston College President Howard Keim is scheduled to present a weekend of messages at Maple Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville, Pa., Friday through Sunday, April 24-26. Hesston alumni and friends are invited to attend the events and connect with Hesston representatives.
Sponsored by the church, President Keim will give biblical presentations on the topics of communication and relationships. His topic at 7 p.m. Friday, April 24 is “The Process of Communication.” Saturday evening at 7, he will speak on the theme, “The Blessings and Curses of Intergenerational Relationships.” Then at the 10:30 Sunday morning service, Keim will bring a message entitled “Ready to be Anointed.”
Keim will also speak on “Ready to be Anointed” Sunday morning at 9:15 at Allensville Mennonite Church.
On Sunday morning, Keim will be joined at each church by John Sharp for worship, and Andy Sharp for youth Sunday school hour. Both are “Big Valley” natives and current Hesston College staff persons. John E. Sharp is a faculty member and history writer of the college’s centennial book, A School on the Prairie, A Centennial History of Hesston College, 1909-2009, while Andy Sharp is an Admissions representative. Elam Peachey, development officer at Hesston College, will also attend.
Sunday afternoon at 5, President Keim and John Sharp will present “Hesston and the Church Centennial Stories, and a College Update” at Maple Grove Mennonite Church. A light meal will be included. For reservations (required), call toll-free at 866-437-7866 by Thursday, April 23.
Sunday evening at 7, President Keim will conclude his series of messages at Maple Grove Mennonite Church with a message titled “Tradition and Ritual in Family Life.”
Meanwhile, President Keim, along with John Sharp and Andy Sharp, will speak during chapel at Belleville Mennonite School at 9:45 a.m., Monday, April 27.
