Jessica Davis, a defender/midfielder from Newton (Kan.) High School, has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Hesston College.
Davis lettered four years in soccer for Newton High, and during her senior year was named team captain.
A dedicated student-athlete, Davis earned four academic letters while at Newton High and received an Honors Diploma for her work in the classroom. Davis was involved in Health Occupations Student Association, Circle of Friends, Key Club, and Dew Crew.
“Jessica is a strong defender with excellent leadership skills,” said Hesston College soccer coach Kurt Hostetler. “She influences others with her outstanding work ethic. She’s also a great student, and I’m confident she’ll make an immediate impact in our program.”
Davis is the daughter of Michael and Monica Davis, Newton.
In soccer, Hesston College competes in Division I of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Located 30 miles north of Wichita, Hesston College is the two-year liberal arts college of Mennonite Church USA.
