Hone your craft at TheatreFest, hosted by Hesston College Performing Arts.
Spend the morning in acting and tech-based workshops, and then take in a matinee performance of “Antigone” by Jean Anouilh, inspired by Sophocles.
Led by Hesston College Performing Arts faculty and students, this day-long event is structured to equip actors and tech crew members with skills necessary in the theatre industry, advance your abilities and have a little fun. Students will have an opportunity to audition for a theatre scholarship after the performance.
- 8:30 a.m. – Registration
- 9 a.m. to noon – Performance and technical workshops including improv, choreography and technical theatre
- Noon to 1 p.m. – Lunch provided on campus
- 1 to 3 p.m. – Matinee performance of our fall theatre production: “Antigone“
