The Hesston College women’s basketball team came away with a dramatic 70-69 win over Tabor College JV, Hillsboro, Kan., on Wednesday, Feb 6, to improve its season mark to 10-13.

Freshman Kelli Christenson (Dayton, Ore.) nailed a late three-pointer that lifted Hesston to the win. Destavia Davis (Nacogdoches, Texas) poured in 19 points to lead the Larks, while Nikki Lowry (Falcon, Colo.) added 13 points. Christenson scored nine in the win.

Hesston will take on Oklahoma Wesleyan University JV, Bartlesville, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb 9, in the Larks final regular season home game of the year.
