Hesston College reports increased enrollment

Official numbers from the twentieth day of classes at Hesston College show an increased enrollment of 448 compared to 439 one year ago. New students number 264, the largest incoming class since 2005 according to vice president of Admissions Joel Kauffman. The number of students living on campus has also increased from 319 a year ago to 329 for the current year. 34 international students contribute to total enrollment as well. Hesston students represent 31 states and 11 countries. Mennonite students make up 40 percent of the population.

“I am very pleased with this number and think it reflects some of the positive things happening at Hesston College,” said Kauffman.

Located 30 miles North of Wichita, Hesston College is the two-year liberal arts college of Mennonite Church USA.
