An introductory study of Japanese language and culture. Language studies include all communicative components of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Integrated cultural studies focus on skills and behaviors essential for communication with native Japanese speakers, as well as culturally unique methods of nonverbal communication. A Knowledge and Intercultural Competence general education course.
