It's a simple process to sign up for Facebook. Just visit facebook.com. You will need to provide your name, e-mail address, gender, and birthdate and create a password to access your account. (Facebook requires users to give their birthdate as a safety precaution and to preserve the integrity of the site. You may choose to hide this information from your profile, if you wish.)
You will join a local Facebook network. If you live near Hesston, you would likely choose the Wichita network. Look for a network in your area. Once you are on Facebook, search for Hesston College (using the white search box at the right of the blue band at the top of the page). Look on the Hesston College page for links to your graduating class, Larks sports teams, photos or videos of recent events, or news of upcoming events.
Use the search box to look for classmates and friends. You might even find someone like Marion Bontrager or Nelson Kilmer, long time Hesston College faculty members.
Reunion class groups
The Alumni and Communications offices have established Facebook groups for most reunion classes gathering for Homecoming 2009. To join your class group, search for it ("Hesston College Class of 1999" for example) on Facebook using the search box at the top right of every Facebook page. Or use the links on the class representatives page.
